Welcome to Englewood, the "Gem of the Suncoast."

I am proud to tell you that the mega-website "Trip Advisor" recently ranked Englewood number two as a travel destination for 2009!

Here's what Trip Advisor had to say: "The area offers a wide range of recreational activities ranging from fishing and boating, to bird-watching and kayaking."  The site also notes our "plentiful golf courses, tennis courts and the arts." Englewood is a good "getaway" but still relatively close to larger cities.

In a nutshell, and the reason I live here, is that Englewood still possesses that "old time charm that is reminiscent of an old Florida past." If you're tired of a hectic life in an large city, driving in bumper to bumper traffic, where no one knows your name, then maybe it's time for a change. Maybe it’s time you "found" Englewood too!
